Sneak Peek – Sage Family
Janssen was one of my class of 2015 seniors from St. Joe-Ogden High School. This time I got to photograph the whole family before he heads off to College! I always have fun with my senior family portraits, but I don’t think I have ever laughed as much as I did with this crew! What an awesome family!
The Browning Family
The Browning family chose the day before Thanksgiving as the perfect opportunity to get family portraits since all the kids would be home for the holiday! Despite the trekking through woods in heels and the bitter cold temps, they maintained great humor and beautiful smiles.( and you hardly notice the goosebumps!!!)
Clanton Family
Why settle for normal when you can have fun? The Clanton family was sssoooo much fun during their complimentary family portrait session!
The Fink Family 2013
Family pictures remind you of what is most important to you. They also make you very aware that your babies are all grown up.
Fisher Family Portraits
Its that time of year, when you realize your baby is going to college….and you want a family photo! This was a really fun, laid back session and I love being able to get reflections AND a dock!
As the family grows…
I love photographing this family. Our photo shoots are always fun and incredibly laid back. I love even more that I have the honor of telling the story of their lives!
Contemporary Maternity – Amy and Matt
Life comes full circle. I first photographed Amy as a Fisher High School Senior. Then she met Matt and fell in love, so I photographed their beautiful engagement portraits. Last year we created gorgeous portraits of Amy with her Mom. And now I have the honor of photographing Matt and Amy anticipating their first child. Its things like this that make me so happy!
Mahomet family – The Poguemillers
This wonderful family in Mahomet with their two beautiful girls was such a delight to photograph! We had a beautiful day and lots of fun!!!
Urbana Family – Unportrait
“We want a family portrait, but not the posed, cheesey, everybody sit still kind” were the requirements for this family’s portrait shoot! Knowing that Ja Nelle and her husband Chris are incredibly creative, plus having three kids under the age of 8, I knew I would have to come up with something completely out of the box….And huge mess aside, I think we did it!
Mahomet family – the Handsfields
I got to spend part of the lovely Columbus day holiday photographing the Handsfield family at their home near Mahomet. Such a fun family and with a lake in the backyard and a soccer goal in the front, we were able to capture them doing some of the things they love to do as a family!
Glam Maternity – Sarah K
Sarah is one of my incredibly talented hair and makeup stylists, who just happens to be expecting her second daughter! When I had this idea for glam maternity shots, I think she realized I truly was crazy. But, I won her over and we did an absolutely amazing maternity photosession centered around feeling beautiful while expecting. We also included her darling daughter and hubby for a few fun photos as well!! Sarah, thank you so much, I hope you love these!
Farm Family Photos – Red Tractor!
An amazing, beautiful family on the farm at harvest….need I say more?
Farm Family Portraits – The Hansens
The fun thing about photographing families in the midwest is that you get to use really really BIG tractors as props! It was a hot, hot afternoon, but the sky was gorgeous blue and the tractor was clean and ready to go! Creating really fun, unique family portraits is something that I really love doing and I think these are some of my best!
Baby makes Three!
I love photographing 6 month old babies; they sit up and have lots of expression and are just too cute for words. Hadley with her beautiful big eyes was no exception! She brought her mom and dad along, so we got some beautiful family photos and a couple of extras with dad. Since mom is gorgeous and all done up with her hair and makeup, we did some contemporary portraits of her as well! Such a fun family to work with! Hair and makeup by Sarah Kellems!
The Friedman Family
The Friedman family took advantage of our complimentary family session that is given to all of our Laura Trovillion Photography seniors. The Friedman’s and I headed to Lake of the Woods in Mahomet on a gorgeous Friday evening. We proceeded to have a lot of fun and got a little crazy too!
Mother daughter portraits- Chris and Amy
Amy contacted me way back in April about doing a mother-daughter photo shoot with her mom for Mother’s day….except with Amy and her husband graduating college and moving, it couldn’t happen till last week! Chris was totally surprised, and Amy showed us her girly side. It was a wonderful shoot with these two women! Hair and makeup by Sarah Kellems.
The Williams Family
The Williams family took advantage of our complimentary senior family portrait session. We went to the Sangamon River Forest Preserve located south of Fisher. We got some great family photos and some goofy ones too! It was a beautiful evening for a photo shoot and an absolutely lovely family.
Aiden’s 4 Month Pictures

Mahomet Baby pictures – Amelia is 6 months
Actually this portrait sitting was closer to 7 months, but they are still adorable! This age, when they are sitting and starting to babble, is such a hoot! We had the bonus of being able to photograph her in her Halloween costume. Isn’t she just too cute? And I love how mom and dad totally focus on her in the family photo. Who wants to look at a silly old photographer when you can look at a beautiful baby girl?

Ingrum Family Photos
These are the Ingrums, who came to me as part of a fundraising event at an area preschool that Jack and Jordyn attend! We had lots of fun and got a little crazy. I love that they were willing to be themselves and laugh and hug and generally go with the moment!
Smith Family
The Smith Family Photo Shoot was alot of fun. Cindy got everyone together before her adult kids went off again to their respective lives. It was rather warm, so everyone was “glowing” and Tim was a trooper to lug my bench seat all around the Mahomet Botanical Gardens. When the bugs came out though, we got finished rather quickly! Great family; beautiful inside and out!
Campos family 2011
Recently I had the pleasure of photographing the wonderful Campos family at their home. Although the mosquitos and the kittens were a definate distraction, I feel like we truly captured the personalities of the family.
